Time to train!!

Jack Pine Canine Services offers multiple training programs to suit your needs, budget, and schedule. Have a look through our training programs and give us a call if you need a hand deciding which one is best for your dog!

Prince Albert Group Classes

Our standard group classes cover the basics for many dogs and puppies! We offer group Puppy class for dogs under 6 months of age, and Manners classes for dogs over 6 months of age at the start of class. These classes are meant to be a starting point to get you and your dog some ideas and training plans for working through daily tasks. In our classes we cover how dogs learn, how to set them up for success, and begin the sit, down, walking nicely, taking treats nicely, go to place, recall, stay, handling, and more! These classes are not meant to solve aggressive, reactive, or anxious problems with your pup and we stick to our curriculum for class. Help that is needed outside the scope of the class will need to be booked through a different training program.

The first class you attend without your dog and we give you homework and instruction on things to do with your dog at home to set you up to succeed in class with your dog for the following classes.

Classes are $195.00+gst this includes Class #1 (no dogs attend) and 5  additional classes with your dog or puppy.

Headstart Program

Our Headstart program quickly became a favorite when it was first introduced two years ago! For people who can't make group classes work but still want a well behaved dog, this option is just the help you need. Your dog or pup spends six afternoons with us, we start the same basics that we do in classes, plus work on nail trims and take them on two field trips. After their six sessions we do a follow up one on one session with you to catch you up to speed and show you your dogs new skills.

You can drop off and pick up at our location, or we can do that for you as well! Price for our headstart program is $395+gst and includes all six days, drop off and pick up if needed, as well as your one on one at the end.

Due to demand we are continuing an open enrolment for Head Start! Available options are Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. We will be taking a break from Dec 23-Jan 3 for the holiday season, and will resume January 7th.

To enrol please complete a profile for you and your dog on our online booking system, then contact us at 306-831-5225 with your start date.

Board & Train

If you need a little more individualized training, we do have board and train options where your dog or pup stays with us an extended period of time and we do the bulk of the work! We have puppy programs, a full foundation program, and a problem solving program. Click the button below for more details and pricing!

Our board and train programs are continual intake based on availabilty!

One On One Training

We are currently offering one on one sessions to help you problem solve issues with your dog or pup. Price includes you coming to us at our location on South Industrial Drive, or us traveling to you within 10 minutes of Prince Albert, mileage to be added after that. Sessions are typically an hour in length and include homework for you to continue. We are able to plan one on ones around your busy schedule. Contact us at 306-831-5225 to book your firt session.

You can purchase a single session, or a set of three. We always recommend a minimum of three to start, as training is rarely a one visit, magic fix. That said, there are times were you can get your questions answered and enough information in only one session that it's all you need, so there is an option for that as well. We can cover any and all issues in one on one sessions.

1session $200.00+gst

3 Sessions $500.00+gst
